cornishvr6 52
Morning all, I have a question for a mate who i share my unit with, He drives a obd2 higline and has just purchased a polished manifold off ebay, Problem is its an obd1 and he called me last night saying it not fitting something to do with where it mounts to the throttle body maybe?? (Im yet to see at the moment) Am i correct in thinking it needs an adaptor plate or some sort of gasket made up? Any help/ideas apprecated, Thanks

VR6Pete 1,455
It would be cheaper and easier to sell the OBD1 manifold and purchase the correct one i'm afraid!
BADOIR 2
are the holes the only differance,??or could you put a obd2 t/b on as well??
VR6Pete 1,455
OBD2 throttle body is electronically controlled, you'd have to do a full OBD2 conversion. loom, lambda, MAF etc.. etc..

Lukey. 381
It says that its an OBD2 golf and the manifold is OBD1, so you could fit it with just an adapter plate, as the car is already OBD2....

UnitedMotorsport 55
We have an adapter plate in stock. Only other thing that needs to be done is block up the ISV port.
