antera309 3 Posted April 6, 2005 Report Share Posted April 6, 2005 Yes, I'm guessing morpheous refers to the ABS rings (sometimes referred to as "Tone Rings"). These are very "Cage-like" in appearance.They are available from VW dealers or online at Euro Car parts (www.eurocarparts.com). ECP's part number for them is 417440360, for a 1994 Golf VR6. Other years/models should use the same part, but please check before ordering.They are an interference-fit to the rear brake discs, which have to be removed. It's so difficult to remove tone rings from old brake discs that most people choose to replace the discs at the same time.[ Edited Wed Apr 06 2005, 04:41PM ] Link to post Share on other sites
