hades998 0 Posted April 8, 2005 Report Share Posted April 8, 2005 I recently bought a 'D' shaped steering wheel for my 92 VR6. I also bought a Mountney boss from a local halfords. Not much of a surprise when the boss wasnt right. When i took off the original (and very tatty) wheel i could see instantly the splined shaft was larger and has a taper on it.However i was shown the mountney brochure and for the mk3 golf the part was supposed to be right. Was the VR6 different? What part number boss works? Link to post Share on other sites
