Fuel system upgrades

Recommended Posts

How far has everyone gone with their fuel system upgrades.

I shall be running the intank pump but not sure if I should upgrade this..

It will then be going to a swirl pot in the boot, or is this overkill?

Then to the Bosch 044 inline mounted under the car,

Then a racing fuel filter

To the fuel rail,

As its schimmel manifold it's has an adjustable fpr in the engine bay, with an inline pressure gauge.

Finally back to the tank,

Is this over kill for my vrt?

Cool. Well I've decided to wait to do my setup, will just change the fuel lines and the regulator and put an inline pressure gauge in too.

Then next year when I upgrade my turbo I will do a similar setup as previous page as I will be aiming for similar power.

Thanks for all your help guys!

Sounds good what's the most boost you have run on the pro maf setup?

30 psi on 98 octan pump gas. Above 30 psi the 35R is out of breath.

I also got a Autometer fuel pressure gauge. Abit pricey, but its a cheap insurance.

The Pro-Maf togheter with a adj fpr allows me to set the AFR where I want it.

My AFR is set at around 11.7 - 12.1 full boost.

AN6 flows plenty. AND the Integrated tank keeps the 044 quite. I used to have the 044 mounted alone next to the fuel filter, and it was crazy loud.

Ok cool. Thanks! Mine is 17' date=' so something is wrong.

I think it's the maf. Thanks.

Yeah it is, target idle AFR is 14.7. Lambda control is able to pull out a max of 25%.

17 - 25% is 12.7(Richer than Idle target AFR), from this I can conclude that 02 control is not active on your car and the MAF is reading wrong for some reason.
