993turbo 0
Ive got a Corrado with a 2,9 ABV engine. The Engine is toast (Chain failure)Ive got a complete 92' Golf OBD1 2,8 AAA ready to break. What issues will I meet putting the AAA engine in the Corrado, if any? Plug and play? Cheers! Daverse 175
if you just swapping the block and head over you'll be fine, just spar over tue inlet manifold, throttle body e.t.c and the only difference youll notice is the 100cc drop in power
993turbo 0
What is the difference for the inlet manifold / Tb etc.?
matty.vrt 120
Just strip the aaa to just the bare engine then put all the 2.9 ancillarys on to it then fit it jobs a good one.
993turbo 0
Great! How about the flywheel / Clutch?
Daverse 175
the same, but look at the friction plate for wear, might be worth putting a new one in, saves doing it again
