aLaRm-888 1
Hello, help advice, installed new brake pads, caliper guides. The symptoms are as follows: 1st Half pedal is very soft on the 2nd half begins to slow down, but if you go and abruptly stopped, the front wheels lock and the rear make a half turn and then only to be blocked. I flushed my brake system through many times at the institution machine, model of my car is golf MK3, with ABS, ABS is not working, the error pump. Maybe someone had similar symptoms? Due to the inability of the ABS or not? And with two on the brake pedal is normal. I paid for the unit abs and wait for his delivery because I turn the ignition - the pump does not work, connect directly to the pump 12 volts it buzzes, the connector that connects to the ABS have amperage. What thought is about the fact that may be the cause of the brake system malfunction?

VR6Pete 1,455
Yeah - if your pump is not working then that's your problem. have you ran it through VAG-COM and seen if any other error codes are stored relating to the ABS?
