VR6Pete 1,455 Posted February 28, 2013 Report Share Posted February 28, 2013 All,It's with great regret that I type up this post.While the hosting company was performing some work this evening, something happened with the database during a migration - this resulted in database corruption, upon checking the database backups, it was discovered that no recent backup was taken, and the only copy of the database was from 1st Feb 2013.To say I am annoyed with my hosting company is an understatement, and i'm devastated that has actually happened! They are investigating the cause of both the data loss and lack of recent backups. What I need from you understanding members! A little patience would be nice There are a number of recent club benefits I have added / modified over the last couple of weeks that need to be re done.Event forums potentially missing information regarding upcoming events / show season.Club Membership Welcome Pack details for the last month are missing, we will need to cross reference with various sources and it may take longer than usual to distribute the welcome packs, pleas bare with us! If your forum thread is missing!If you have created any forum threads / replied to posts in the last month, i'm afraid they are no longer here What I will encourage is that everyone helps to fill in the 'void' of missing posts by contributing to the forum, re-creating any posts and having a check through the recent threads to see if there anything you remember replying too that you can reply to again.... Even if your forum thread was just to say Hi, lets get things moving again and help me feel better at least. This website has been running for over 9 years and this is the first data loss we have encountered so please please help us get through this!I really need to sleep now as I'm mentally drained.
