tommyp 0 Posted March 2, 2013 Report Share Posted March 2, 2013 So over the last few week I have been rebuilding my vento vr as it blow the head gasket on the way in to players done the head the whole coolent system chains so while it's in bit I want to do the clutch as the release bearing has made a noise since I have had the car and I am supercharging it so spacer plate will go in . So what cluch do I go for don't like racing cluch as my mate has one in his thanks Link to post Share on other sites

I had a lengthy discussion with Vince at Stealth Racing as I'm just about to install a new gearbox in mine thought is do the clutch at the same time as its an unknown mileage.There's Luk, Sachs and Valeo as standard options.I'm told release bearings go noisy on the Luk ones quickly and the quality of the Sachs clutch isn't what it used to be and get a number of issues a year or so later with them going faulty... It appears Valeo are the way to go now, not seen a single car come back with issues, I've just bought one at a cost of £132 delivered to my door from Stealth.Cheers.
