hi just a quick post ive started my mk 2 conversion engines out and dash is out im puttin a vr6 into it obd2 my golf is a g reg so i think its got the 90 spec fuse box so do i just unplug the engine loom out my mk 2 and do the same with the vr6 plz has any 1 done this conversion already thanks

Yeah, that's pretty much it. As long as it's 90 spec fusebox. What clocks are you running?

how do i no its 90 spec ive been told as long as my hazzard light is on my stalk its 90 spec mine is on the stalk

I changed my steering column in my mk2 conversion and had the mk3 stalks with the hazard light on the top of the steering wheel cowl

i already have the hazzard light on top already

Then it will/should be 90spec. The plugs won't fit into a ce1 fusebox anyway as they are a different shape.

ok thanks for ur help can some 1 answer me the question as for y i cant use the vr6 pedel box y passat or corrado

I'm assuming your using a hydraulic clutch? And not converting it too cable.

It's something too do with the push rod too the clutch m/c and the golf pedal boxes don't push it in far enough. Corrados were just a different shape mk2 hence why everything can be swapped over.
