VR6Pete 1,455
It really changes the characteristics of the vr6 engine, giving a much needed low down boost or torque, and a "surge" like feeling then the manifold switches all the way to the limiter. Now you can pick them up for between 600 - 700 quid they are worth the money I'd say , from memory when I had mine, it went from around 201bhp to 213 bhp, but ignore the figures as its a pleasure to drive. You can see some interesting results from different modifications on the rolling road here; http://www.vr6oc.com/results.htmlPete
DrRich 1
Yes, agree with Pete here. It's not the top figure that matters, its the huge spread of low down torque that fills that 'gap' that exists below about 4000rpm. Accelerating on the motorway from 70 can be easily done leaving it in 5th - try that with the standard mani!Really changed the overall character and for the price its really worthwhile. With a remap it is probably even better, but I never had one and it was still superb (had both OBD1 and OBD2).Only sold mine because I found a superb deal on a Rotrex charger, but even with this fitted, for daily driving the Schrick was probably a little more 'useable'. craggsy 91
Schricks are fantastic itch a rotrex as well. I had them together for a year nod could really feel the difference when I took it off to sell it
