Adam 0 Posted April 13, 2005 Report Share Posted April 13, 2005 Gutted! Just went to get in my car and discovered some absolute tw%t has keyed the rear quater panel and the passenger door! I've had the car 1 week and feel like crying! Just wondering if anyone had ever used the chips away mobile body work service at all or wondered if anyone could reccomend a decent body repair place, preferably in North west or North East!Hope you all never have to go thrugh the same thing. badboyV6 4 Posted April 13, 2005 Report Share Posted April 13, 2005 B'stards!! Never had my car keyed but i had my door literally pulled away from the frame which was a nice surprise! Twats....... As for the repair- if its deep id grin and bare it until you can afford to get it done properly- cips etc are only any good at small areas- VR6Rich had a paint repair done to his bumper and thats showing signs of cracking... Remember I called you the other week, I was going to come down from Consett where you got your motor!!! I left a message when I called as you weren't in, hope you got it mate. I found the car I've bought in Wigan where I Originally come from. I couldn't resist it as he was only asking 3,800 and it was mint and completely original. VR6Rich 3 Posted April 13, 2005 Report Share Posted April 13, 2005 As Warren said I had a few things done by Chips Away, rear bumper corner scuff, rear quarter scratch, rear spoiler paint repair and rear dorr scratch.All of these have gone either a matt finish and/or showing the original flaw underneath!Keep meaning to go back and get it sorted but im louved to take it back to be bodged again. 2 years warrenty though and only had the work done 10 months!So.... Not looking forward to getting a quote on this one.. arggghhhh!!!Absolutely gutted! I'll see what kind of prices i an get, i know of a garage that did a good job of a car i had before, so i hope they can work some magic once again!
