mk3luke 5
Hi guys, my golf had the classic unplugged abs air bag light combo. so i has a quick look found the wire and plugged it back in.would you believe it the airbag and abs lights came on! scanned it with vcds lite on my laptop and got lhf wheel speed sensor and drivers airbag ignitor resistance high.put in a new wheel speed sensor and the light went out and cleared the codes, now i have abs! hoorah.(yet to sort the airbag, got a coil spring coming in the post)But now my problem is this, when i start the car the abs light does not come on then go out! (but there are no fault codes and the abs defo works!)any ideas?cheersluke

Lukey. 381
I unsoldered and re soldered mine as they both blew, to make it easier (& likely to never blow again) I used LEDs instead of incandescent and used small lengths of wire in between, tacking the LEDs in the holes of the holder with a dot of hot glue.
