bowz 0 Posted March 29, 2013 Report Share Posted March 29, 2013 hi there, just new to all this so here goes, i am doing a vr6 conversion into my 90 spec mk2 gti 8v. everything is in and wired up, the engine cranks over, but no fuel, and only sparks once when the ignition lights are on, but when u crank it over there is no spark, so i bought a new coil put it on and no difference, av gone over all the earths just to make sure but still the same. am so close to finishing my project does anyone have any ideas. cheers Link to post Share on other sites

VR6Pete 1,455 Posted March 29, 2013 Report Share Posted March 29, 2013 There is an immobiliser built into ecu... Did you install the immobiliser box and coil that goes around the ignition barrel? You would know if this if you plug it into VAG-COM as it would produce s fault code stating "engine start blocked by immobiliser" Link to post Share on other sites
