VRmonster 1
taking delivery of a cabrio this weekend if all goes well, just wondering what alarm i should get, obviously want something with zoned proximity alarm, and central locking control, and maybe hijacking protection.. dont think there are any other features i would use. maybe remote start for the winter but not too fussed. anyone know of one that would suit my needs, had a clifford and wouldnt mund staying away from them as theyre a bit dodgy, lol.im also planning on getting a tracker fitted as i really dont want this car to go missing, but if i does i want to know where it goes, lol. so any recomendations on that too. thanks. acf8181 0
clifford, toad, cobra....all these co's will do alarms with the stuff you require. i like cliffords myself.RAC trackstar's the best tracker i believe...but check up on that as i don't know too much about it. think its costs like £300 a year tho.even tho eat this said it as a joke, he's right that building a garage can be money well spent. antera309 3
The toad total closure CAT1 system is suitable for the Cabrio and works very well. False alarms are rare.
Peakz 0
I've got a TOAD Ai606 with ultrasonics but for a few quid more you can get micowave sensors instead which are better for cabriolets. As Antera says, it's more reliable than some bigger brands.
