alarm recomendations for cabrio

taking delivery of a cabrio this weekend if all goes well, just wondering what alarm i should get, obviously want something with zoned proximity alarm, and central locking control, and maybe hijacking protection.. dont think there are any other features i would use. maybe remote start for the winter but not too fussed. anyone know of one that would suit my needs, had a clifford and wouldnt mund staying away from them as theyre a bit dodgy, lol.

im also planning on getting a tracker fitted as i really dont want this car to go missing, but if i does i want to know where it goes, lol. so any recomendations on that too. thanks.

clifford, toad, cobra....all these co's will do alarms with the stuff you require. i like cliffords myself.

RAC trackstar's the best tracker i believe...but check up on that as i don't know too much about it. think its costs like £300 a year tho.

even tho eat this said it as a joke, he's right that building a garage can be money well spent.

got one, but theres too much stuff in there to get a car in. plus if there ever was space, my mams bmw would take pride of place in there, as its her garage, lol.

if she aint using it, clear it out and call it for yourself.....we have two garages, and a double car port...guess who uses the garages?!

The toad total closure CAT1 system is suitable for the Cabrio and works very well. False alarms are rare.

I've got a TOAD Ai606 with ultrasonics but for a few quid more you can get micowave sensors instead which are better for cabriolets.

As Antera says, it's more reliable than some bigger brands.
