Low down and squeeking

Good afternoon all.

Have recently lowered my mk3 and since doing so have picked up a weird squeeking/ creeking noise coming form the rear, have the car sitting on pro sport coilovers, not the best make i know but not a bad ride, any ideas on the noise??????

Do you hear the noise all the time, or only under certain conditions (e.g. turning a corner, going over a bump, going up a hill etc.)?

so what the best way to get over this prop??? and does it make a diff if the helper spring are at the top or the bottom???

I think that depends on the manufacturer, mine have them at the top but I've seen some at the bottom

mine are at the bottom, so if it is the bump stops making the noise how do i get rid of it?? Take them out??? but would that effect the ride????

I'm just giving you suggestions mate, I don't know if it is, they are a high density foam so they may be squeaking.

As a test to see if it was them you should just be able to take the top hat off the coilovers and slide them off, then at least you can rule it out if it doesn't go away.
