Stormwarning 0
Hi guys I have been around classic cars and motorcycles for some time and wondered what you guys thought with regard to "making up" a set of high qaulity HT leads. Lead itself is available by the meter from various locations and a variety of caps are available. I was just wondering which caps might be appropriate in the NGK range to suit the VR6 engine and if anyone has done this themselves? By looking at rough costs, it would appear that a set of 6 leads in almost any colour you desire could be made up for about £40ish quid. Any thoughts guys???
Stormwarning 0
Just had a quick spy and the lengths for a coilpack car appear to be;-All in CM'S46.3 , 51.5 , 57 , 71 , 76.5 , 86 ...... So 4 metres of cable would do it for all 6 leads. ( Approximately £15 quids worth of silicone ht lead)
Lukey. 381
Do they have the specific "totally bespoke to the application of the deep set plugs and removal tool" plug ends available off the shelf though?
Stormwarning 0
I know what you mean Lukey about the deep set plugs and they offer long reach screw on ngk cap ends. Im just wondering if anyone has any experiance of making a set up?
