nedvrt 25
hi im currently puutin all my vrt set up in the mk1 and got my eyes set on a motorsport floor mounted type pedal box, i undestand when u get some heat in the brakes they are much more useable but when the brakes are cool will it be like standing on a peice of wood, for a scenario crusing along the motor way and i have to brake suddenly are they goin to work the same as if it was off a servo ? as i dont want to have to use one if poss any advice would be appreciated
VR6Pete 1,455
Left foot braking should do the trick

michael5556 247
You will need long legs lol only due too the lack of servo.
nedvrt 25
Lol il move the pedals closer haha but what make s you say that ? Just out of interest and I'm guessing the brakes will be rock hard untill they get heat in them, is that right ?
michael5556 247
Not necessarily, that usually just for a certain type of brake pads such as track orientated pads where heat in them is very important. You usually just have too brake much harder with those type of pedal boxes

VR6Pete 1,455
You'd have check with your insurer too and think about getting it through an MOT brake test too don't want to be caught out further down the line
nedvrt 25
Ohh yeah lol the mot part I rely did not take into consideration lol and I'm sure the insurer will be fine with it lol
