Sechs Toy 32
Round 6 of the VWDRC Championship, Open Sports Nationals at Shakespeare County Raceway was this weekend,We arrived with the plan of putting the car back into limp mode as the cut off for my class VW Sportsman is 13.00, so initially just disconnected the cam sensor, but after one run we realised this will put the car in limp mode but not the same map we had before as this was no an open circuit not missing a sensor. So we decided to go back to Bug Jams tune where we backed the rev limiter to 5.5k, qualifying didn't go quite to plan, as we were not consistent enough but did get more data each run, ended up 5th out of 12Eliminations was the opposite I ran a string of 13.4's with a 13.45 on a 13.44 dial in the semis, then finally a Win in the final.I won the APIRA Championship and moved up to No.1 in the VWDRC National championship again, roll on the National Finals in September, hope a few of the VR6OC can come along and cheer the Vr's racing Although we have the small matter of the FIA European Finals next week, where we are running the Nitorus
