R32 In Vr6 Mk3

A little help needed people, I have got a 1995 VR6 where the engine has died and I have managed to find an R32 engine, how easy is this to fit and do any of the ancillaries fit across? will it need an R32 ecu and will that fit the VR6 fuse board with a plug and play?

 

Any advise needed

Take a look though my build thread on here mate, there's also another build thread on here by Absy,

Theres quite a few different ways of doing things but physically it drops straight in on the mk3 mounts (worth upgrading)

Stick with oem management so yes the ecu from the donor vehicle or a late v6 4motion would also work but would then need ecu work and de immobilising etc.

Custom loom would need to be made and spliced into old vr6 loom to use the original fuse box.

Hey!

I have done that swap to.I used Phaeton 3.2 engine with vr6 02a gearbox,clutch and flywheel.Had to only modif downpipe.Wiring is pain in the ass,mines still not work as it should be...

Have a very clean Vr engine here. I need a BDE or BFH for my 4Motion. Interested in a px with cash or parts your way for your BFH?
