WhatsHisName 0
Sorry for Photobucket being crap & rotating my photo without bloody well asking. What's the part arrowed in the VR6 engine bay... Slightly to the right (as you look at the front of the car) of the oil filter.
Daverse 175
Oil cooler by the looks of it. Prone to leaking, im guessing thats why your asking? Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk 2 WhatsHisName
WhatsHisName 0
I guess. I don't know what it's called so i hope we're talking about the same thing. The casing to it looks similar/same as the casing to a cartridge oil filter. Shame the photo looks poor quality on the PC though, as it looks clearer on my phone, or it did when i took the photo, but it looks a bit dark once i uploaded it. Cheers though. VR6Pete 1,455
Yeah oil cooler that chap Seals go hard after a while, if your replacing the seals, be carful if the plastic crack pipe that runs above it, it has a hose that connects to that cooler and the plastic usually snaps off it. WhatsHisName 0
Are we talking about the same part? I've just clicked that link & that eBay list doesn't look like the part i'm pointing to as they all look like mini radiators.
Daverse 175
Their aftermarket oil coolers, basically just replace the original cooler to increase surface area of air - metal Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk 2 WhatsHisName
Lukey. 381
Lots of places also label them as heat exchangers, as that's what they do, exchange heat from coolant to oil and vice versa WhatsHisName
