ABS still not working :(

Changed the brakes on the Vento over the weekend. Replaced discs and pads. The front ABS sensor/plug things were spotless inside and don't look very old. I took the ring things off the old discs and put them on the new ones but the ABS light is still on and the ABS is still not functioning.

I know the ABS system for the rear is under the back seat but it all looks minty fresh!

What else can I check?

just stick it on VAG COM. no point guessing where the problem is

Do any of you have your own VAG COM sytems? I'm not taking it to a main dealer cos they'll sting me just for looking at it and I don't know anyone else that has the system

I was wondering if it was worth buying one?

for now, as the other half has a polo with airbag probs...but when we sort that and sell that in a month or so i suppose i could be pursuaded to part with it.
