Any help guys lol
michael5556 247
going to have to be more specific than that lol what did you cut, and how did you wire your sub in. pictures are your friend.
Lukey. 381
Subs connect to a pre out on the back of the head unit/fly lead coming from the head unit, you don't need to cut any wires.
Ickyketseddie 89
Sub is likely drawing to much current and tripping the head unit. Does it work at all and trip as soon as you turn it up? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
zamie25 1
if your wires are cut from your speakers try running a amp that is less than a 1000w preferbly 4 channel hook yourself up with a paremetric and run straight too your cd player via rca for mid range and for sub run a more powerful amp and run also through your paremetric that runs to your cd player
CALICO 130
Sorry can you speak normal WTF is a "paremetric" there is no such thing ive tried google.Advising somebody to do something without knowing wtf they have cut is pointless and the thread is 3 months old now so im sure it has been sorted one way or another. mattvr6
zamie25 1
Parametric equalizers are effective when shaping the tone of an audio signal. The controls allow for the user to be precise in selecting a frequency to boost or cut, which is helpful if the signal is feeding back or has an unpleasant overtone. CALICO maybe u should learn how to use google my friend before u go about insulting people GT53BAD
CALICO 130
And maybe you should learn to spell properly in the first instance parEmetric / parAmetric . He has no signal so a parametric equaliser will not help at all anyway.
zamie25 1
then read the previous comment finish
CALICO 130
then read the previous comment finishWhat are you on about try reading your first post in this thread then you come back with a different spelling. None of what you said has anything to do with what the OP wanted try reading his first post. Then explain what are you on about in your last post its not even an English way of writing. CALICO 130
Well none of what he says makes any sense and the thread is 4 months old. Newbie resurrecting old threads.
jamesw6810 80
So, have we actually even asked if the guy is English before we go about insulting his spelling or phrasing?
CALICO 130
You don't need to in his second post he spelt it correctly but it is still irrelevant because the OP has not mentioned what wire he has cut so no need to tell him to get an expensive equaliser which wont fix the problem. If you have a slipping clutch you would not buy a new gearbox
jamesw6810 80
Maybe so, but there is still no need to post insulting someone on something they have put regarding spelling or anything of that sort when you know nothing about the person, you wouldn't say it like that to the face of someone you just met, without knowing anything about them would you? IMHO comments like the above are what makes a helpful forum end up like vw vortex or similar, where people come to bitch and take the piss. That's my opinion. Thanks GT53BAD and daveyboy
