EnthusiastOwned 7 Posted December 14, 2013 Report Share Posted December 14, 2013 Hey you guuuyyyyssss!I have a cylinder head I was going to rebuild; it's pitted:I was planning on getting it cleaned up, removing the valves and having it skimmed, but I'm not sure that this is this useable / repairable? Daverse 175 Posted December 14, 2013 Report Share Posted December 14, 2013 Looks far too deep for me to be honest, i had a cylinder with pitting about 60 thou deep - too deep. So my local engineering place tigged and filled it in, flushed it back and gave it a light skim, looks like a brand new head now. Could be an idea for you?
