abvsean 32
I didnt know what section to put this in but its just a general mechanical question/queery really I need to replace my inner cv boots as they got abit cooked when removing the bolts with a blow lamp. i just want to know how to remove the knuckle joint off the inner joint so i can put the boots on and leave the hub assembly alone (the engine is out you see,its using corrado widetrack running gear and corrado driveshafts) any help would be much appriciated cheers
GordonC 20
There is a circlip on the shaft that you need to take off then just chap it off with a hammer mate but make sure you remember what way the bearing cage goes and how the bearings fit in as its a knightmare to put back together VR6Pete
