mattvr6 133 Posted January 5, 2014 Report Share Posted January 5, 2014 There a few vac pipes on the ns of my bulk head that goes to some sort of solenoid and one that runs down to a container type thing attached to my splash guard, also there's a white nipple with my heater pipes any idea's? VR6Pete 1,455 Posted January 5, 2014 Report Share Posted January 5, 2014 Basically, the vacuum pipe next to the heater matrix is for climatronic as it is used to operate the flaps however what you have described sounds like the solonoid that runs to the carbon/charcoal canister. ssaunders 199 Posted January 7, 2014 Report Share Posted January 7, 2014 Hi, mine has standard AC, the vacuum i believe is used to move a flap in the airbox, its solenoid is clipped up next to\behind the expansion tank and has a tube that disappears into the bulk head that connect to the heater matrix (mine was missed when they did the matrix) other end attaches to solid plastic pipe (white) that goes off to the front of the car.
