philboyvr6 0
I came home for lunch and the VR6 was running fine. Tried to start it 30mins later and the engine just turns over with no signs of firing up. There appears to be no spark. I though it was the ignition amplifier/coil but I have replaced it and it is the same. Any ideas please?

philboyvr6 0
The problem turned out to be a fault ignition switch. So if everything appears to be OK but it your car wont start, this may be your problem (Im told by my mate at VW that this fault is not uncommon, this was the first thing he suggested).
