MkBlakevr6 2
I am wondering why anti freeze is coming and dripping off my pulleys is it water pump, is it a hose or pump? My grandpops is a master honda mechanic, doesn't know much bout vw's though. Also can someone tell me what this electrical engine thing is? Lukey. 381
There's a hole on the water pump that is designed to drop when the pump seals have had it, to let you know it needs replacing. The black thing with the blue, yellow and brown sensors is the thermostat housing and the sensors are for coolant temp for blue - ecu, yellow - clocks and brown - air con
VR6Pete 1,455
Hey, bit difficult see clearly on the photos, but could be water pump, or you have coolant seeping through the head gasket, hopefully if you take tension off the belt and give water pump a wiggle there will be movement and coolant will come out which would indicate its buggered The electrical engine thing - well , there's a few things in there, you have your. 3 sensors, fans, temp gauge sensor / aux fan sensor and the ECU blue temp sensor, then you have the coil pack under the engine plastic, the bundle of wires going across the bay - I'm not sure, where does it run from / to? MkBlakevr6 2
Thanks guys, The wires going across are for the headlights, some previous owner did a DIY engine swap and it's all a mess Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk VR6Pete
