MaidenVR6 26
In 2003 i bought a set of Kent 264 cams for my 1992 Corrado VR6.Around £350 for them back then. Complete Supersprint exhaust w/header.No software. Gain ? Yes, but not that much. But im not a fan of n/a tuning on VR6s. The gain is not worth it compared to the price it costs.Quality of the cams are good. On a roller i guess you can see some gains.264 lift is fine.I would bought them again. ssaunders 199
i mean £220 for the kent cams i cant find cams cheaper than 550 euros for schimmel cams or schrickHi Mate, new they should be £450 odd, sure that your not looking at the reprofiling of your originals? that works out about 225? Kent "Sports" cams are for Fast Road applications - no other mods are required. "Sports R" cams will produce more power but Kent recommend that you also fit a performance exhaust, air filter and a chip. The "Sports" cams will idle better than the "Sports R" cams and will be 'better behaved around town'. The "Sports R" cams need to be 'worked harder', having a higher rev range. After each cam or cam kit are the letters Ex, O/R or BL. Their meanings are as follows: Ex - Exchange camshaft - you need to send your standard camshaft to Piper for reprofiling. O/R - Outright sale - The cam you will receive has been reprofiled from a standard cam - you do not need to send in your old cam. BL - Blank - The new cam is machined from either a new casting or a steel billet, so it is brand new.
