Marneus 78 Posted February 8, 2014 Report Share Posted February 8, 2014 Evening allI'm going to be sorting the ABS pump on my Golf over the next couple of weeks & was wondering if there's a specific brake fluid that's in the car or is it all much of a muchness? If just renewing fluid you can just replace as normal pushing the old fluid out with the new, only if compromising the sealed system is when you'd need to purge with vcds Link to post Share on other sites
Marneus 78 Posted February 9, 2014 Author Report Share Posted February 9, 2014 I'm sending the pump away for remanufacture as it's the pump or attached ECU that's causing the fault lights on the dashboard. When swivelonit did a diagnostics it came back with "terminal 30 low voltage" which is a fault on the ABS ECU. So I'm sending the lot away to get sorted. Link to post Share on other sites
