Vince12v 20
How much work/ getting is it to swap out the 12v vr6 for the mk4 24v?? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Daverse 175
Engine (obviously) could use o2j gearbox or a 24v gearbox with a UM or custom mount. Think rear engine mount is different too. And loom and ecu. Depending what gearbox you use you will also need 24v thermostat housing, starter motor. A few people have done it on here so they should be able to write out a list for you Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk
Sean_Jaymo 11
02A gearbox bolts straight on as does the starter motor along with all the mounts. The holes for the rear mount are on the 24v block already, they will just need cleaning out with a tap. You can also keep the 12v thermostat housing and the rest of the pipe work. You literally just swap the block over and wire it up. There is tonnes of info on the Corrado forum. The Corrado and Mk3 both use the same (for all intents and purposes as far as bolting the engine in) subframes, wishbones, gearbox etc. Only major difference is the front cross member. The mounting points are the same on the cross member, just the shape is a bit different where the cross member bolts onto the car.

cornishvr6 52
You need to use a combination of 12v and 24v looms and splice them together to create a bespoke loom :-)
Vince12v 20
Oooooooo bespoke!!! Lol
k4na.x 0
Just as an add on, the corrado needs the rear engine mount trimming by 15-20mm is this the same for the mk3?
