I had big problems a couple of years ago in an e36 M3 that I had because the MOT test states that for HID lights the car must have self levelling lights & headlight washers..... Might have changed now though. I thought this was only the case if the car came fitted with these...could be wrong. Ran 4300k hid's on my e36 and never had a problem.
