abvsean 32 Posted February 12, 2014 Report Share Posted February 12, 2014 right then kids been looking at how to clean my injectors while everything is in bits iv read about this ultrasonic cleaning and it does sound good but talking a fair wedge to get all 6 done so i have seen some hillbillys on youtube using a battery and some brake parts cleaner with a syringe has anyone else used this method? im all for trying it but is it worth the effort?also do i need to replace my o rings or can you reuse them if they arent visibly perished? cheers Link to post Share on other sites

sleepymike 15 Posted February 13, 2014 Report Share Posted February 13, 2014 Beware of some of these injector services, I sent mine to be cleaned (can't remember who but was on eBay) showed the results to the guy who remaps my car and he couldn't believe the injector result sheet as they apparently were now flowing pretty much all the same, still had the same fault on the dyno so he took the injectors to some guys he knows to be cleaned along with the previous injector results and surprise surprise they weren't as perfect as the first results had suggested, infact only just within the 6% tolerance the manufacturer recommends! I also don't believe the Mr injector thing, seen a few of the results print outs and do wonder if someone is just manually typing figures into a document. Link to post Share on other sites
