Jamsplodge 3
So driving home about 30 mins ago, there was a clonking sound from front left of car (felt like the suspension), then I lost drive to wheels, engine is running fine and smooth, whilst engin running gear shifter can move in and out of gears (no clutch needed)... So I have ruled out clutch as I feel I wouldnt be able to get into gear, so then I though maybe drive shaft or gearbox? Any help advice appreciated please thanks Sorry ...wrong location for this post Edited February 24, 2014 by Jamsplodge
abvsean 32
you shouldnt be able to move in and out of gears while the engine is running with no clutch being used is the clutch pedal got any feel to it?has it gotten stuck so the clutch is permanently depressed?? Jakeyb 23
if u had a clunk it will morethan likely be a shattered cv or a dead shaft ... shortest shaft being the 1 that supplies drive .. or clutch but would say shaft from wat u describe Nex
