jamesw6810 80 Posted March 1, 2014 Report Share Posted March 1, 2014 Fitted my newly polished manifold today, all hunky dory until I the realised the nipple from the fuel pressure regulator into the manifold is missing, as in sheared off.....anyone any thoughts on reattachment of the vacuum line? It's sheared near enough flat with the manifold, slight lip left but not enough to attach the hose. Was thinking some h&b weld or similar? Link to post Share on other sites

jamesw6810 80 Posted March 2, 2014 Author Report Share Posted March 2, 2014 (edited) So, the plan is to remove the manifold i spent time putting on yesterday, fix the nipple back on with jb weld, once that is dry ill then coat it in some hight temp rtv sealent to stop any vac leaks through the welds, ill also probably lengthen the vac pipe so it sits at a deeper angle to put less stress on the welded joint, sound like a plan?
