Changing Inlet manifold and Throttle Body

I am changing inlet manifold anfd throttle body fitting enlarged , flowed TB and 2.9 manifold and new Milltek exhaust.

I am assuming the ECU will reset itself automatically, am I correct.

What benefits would using the manifold and TB make? Does the Highline already have the manifold.

I'm pretty sure (don't quote me on this) but the OBD2 motor has a bigger throttle body anyway mate. Can someone clarify?

afaik obd2s (this includes all highlines) have the enlarged tb i think the only manifold difference is the tb mounting holes being slightly different (cheers vw doh)

the 2.9 manifold is bigger internally than the 2.8

I would have thought that as well Justin. Would there be any point putting any 2.9 bits on a 2.8 as the capacity is smaller and physically its never gonna feed all the enlarged bits surley?

I'm no engineer but would I be talking shite?!! hehehe

I think the 2.9 manifold was made bigger to match the increase in capacity.

Corrados all have the earlier throttle body IIRC so unless you get a syncro manifold (2.9 OBD2) then its strictly OBD1 anyway.
