jamesw6810 80
What problems are you having? more than likely to be the ecu mate not the pump but....
djiceman 131
The computer its been plugged in to said it was the rear right sensor and parameters of the pump, changed the rear right sensor and worked for a week, now the light is on and even though the lights on, sometimes the ABS works, most of the time it doesn't. Just need to know if i need to change the Pump or the ECU or both lol.
jamesw6810 80
Will more than likely be the ecu mate, the ecu can be changed by itself if it matches the pump. Youll need to check the part numbers on the ecu which will need removing to do so, but its fairly easy to do. Edited May 6, 2014 by jamesw6810
CALICO 130
you can change the ecu for a different number one but you will need to have a specialist who knows what they are doing with vcds or vag-com to have it written back onto your system not sure if you need the pump to match. Lukey. 381
Doesn't this depend on if it's obd1 or obd2? Aren't the 1 style a separate ecu and pump and the 2 style combined
Jlevo 1
I would also like to know, as I need to replace my pump and ecu I want to know. All I have been told is my ecu is 3A0907379e but I have seen quite a few 3A0907379D with different pump numbers. Are they compatible still if they have come off a gti?
