cpfcvr6 6 Posted May 2, 2014 Report Share Posted May 2, 2014 (edited) car is going today! but i cant get the ball joint from the brake servo out of the pedal box (brake pedal bit)? any ideas how i do this? want to go and try now! couldnt do it yesterday its a golf mark 3 gti. Daverse 175 Posted May 2, 2014 Report Share Posted May 2, 2014 Take the bar that runa down inbetween the two pedals (the nut to undo it is on the firewall in the bay) that gives you access to the two 13mm nuts that hold the servo onto the firewall. Then just pull the brake pedal up until you feel the ball joint leave the socket, then pull the servo out. Best to replace the plastic clip thats in the brake pedal, and stict weld the cage it sits in, their prone to breakingSent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk Link to post Share on other sites
