Mk1 Vr6 james 103 Posted May 10, 2014 Report Share Posted May 10, 2014 Could do with some help wiring in my fans on my Mk1 vr6!I have after market fans and just want them to run at full speed don't have any of the wiring for the old vr6 fans or the control box! abvsean 32 Posted June 4, 2014 Report Share Posted June 4, 2014 can you not use a mk2 golf gti rad fan switch take a feed from the batt (fused) to the switch in the rad then the switched side of the temp sensor then goes to your fans??if they are big jobbies then use the rad switch to switch a contactor and use the contactor to switch the bigger load for the fans? other than that you could run a seperate switch in the car somewhere and just switch it manually but then you need to keep an eye on the temp guage.
