Simon_a 12
My mk3 vr6 more door.Story goes that I bough the car of my customer (now a very good friend) Jamie who asked me to supply and fit air ride to his 1997 minter. Shortly after giving the car back to him he called me asking if I wanted the car as he was going to put it up for sale. After spending so many hours fixing a few bodges that other mechanics have done in the past for J, detailing the cargo last bolt and nut and seeing its transformation in my workshop I kind of got attached to it and for no matter what, I didn't want jamie to sell it to someone who would take so much pride in it as Jamie did. He's kind of guy that does things right, so paint work has been done by Greg Howell over 3 years ago. Since owning the VR I had the interior retrimmed just in time for ultimate dubs. As well as begging Mike the polisher to take on my wheels a week before UD... He managed and done an awesome job. Over 400hours detailing the bloody thing it paid off by scoring up Runner Up at UD14. Shortly after, one of the Lm's cracked on 4 spokes (yet the barrel hasn't been damaged at all?) and I basically had an emotional breakdown. Fitted v2 management as I'm going on a 4k trip manual set up would just be a pain in the arse. 6-2-1manifold, and some other bits and bobs. Anyway, here's some photos... Will add more at some point soon. damian8588, VR6Pete, GT53BAD and 2 others

Simon_a 12
There is no chance of repeating cracked spokes buddy, all I can do with the centre is to stick it up the wall as a clock.I'm looking for centre to replace but no luck. Thanks

Big J 283
Were they genuine LMs??? Wouldn't expect that from BBS. I'm guessing they're genuine because I looked for 17" LM reps for ages and couldn't find any. Because I'm tight and won't spend on real ones lol
