Remote and window issue

Hi all, just got back from a run and now the remote fob doesn't work nor do the electric windows, not sure why only thing I can think of is I tried to lock car with the passenger door open, any idea's guys?

I've had it before when the fob doesn't work but only after disconnecting the battery. What I do is a bit long winded, probably a bit OCD and some steps maybe unnecessary but it works for me. Pop the bonnet up the lock all of the doors manually with the key, including the boot then I leave the key inside the passenger door lock. Disconnect the - cable from the battery. Pop it back on and hopefully then it should be working again. Alarm may go off when you reconnect the - cable but if its working then you will be able to switch it off with the fob. If it doesn't work, take off the - cable again, pop it back on and see if it works again, if not try doing it with all of the doors and boot unlocked and the keys in the lock and repeat steps of disconnecting and reconnecting the battery. Hopefully this should work

Indeed mate, think they blew when I reinstalled the sub, just didn't make the connection before and didn't have the time to investigate properly, thanks for the advice though, I'm sure it will come in handy
