Sump_slammer 23
So I'm in the process of doing the chains, and whilst the engine is out I'm swopping the cams and fitting a billet ally flywheel ready for supercharging. I think power wise it will make around the 270/280 mark. I don't like the idea of fitting a F1 style paddle clutch which will make it horrible for daily driving but don't want any chance of slipping. What clutch do you think will be right for me?
Lukey. 381
Pretty sure the stock clutch can hold 300nm
Sump_slammer 23
Do you think it would be worth upgrading to a organic clutch? Or if I stay standard what makes are good?
Sump_slammer 23
Standard clutch makes?
Lukey. 381
not sure on organic clutch, havent looked into it myself, theyre supposed to be stronger but feel like stock arent they. Standard choices are VW obviously, sachs, luk, valeo. I think VW use LUK mostly in their gen kits.
craggsy 91
For that power stock will be fine unless you like launching it off every set of lights or go drag racing lots VR6Pete
