cpfcvr6 6
sorry for the questions chaps, i don't come on here a lot. but the information i get is great! (as you know my vr6 headgasket is going) i will be super-charging in the future - stage 2! i know from vince @ stelath racing that its ok to run a standard headgasket on my stage 2 supercharger when eventually fitted. but for peace of mind i want to lower the compression, is it just a thicker metal gasket over the standard gasket? guess it will be ok to run it N/A for a while?? also where is best place to buy one? kind regards Edited June 2, 2014 by cpfcvr6
CALICO 130
yes you can run n/a with spacer plate. Ebay.de is the cheapest place to buy one once you have decided how thick you need it to be.

Lukey. 381
To run a spacer you need the multi layered metal head gasket which you then split and sandwich the plate between the two outers cpfcvr6 and MJ Vr6

VR6Pete 1,455
I ran my low compression vr6 for months but wrote it off before boosting it! It was running a healthy 221bhp and was amazing to drive. Club Chairman
daveyboy 897
Hmm so you get a bit more power by lowering the compression and running N.A? Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

Sent from my SM-G900F using TapatalkYou shouldn't usually, I had a fresh engine build which probably helped built at stealth, also had wossner pistons for good measure lol. Theory of lowering compression still remains. Club Chairman
