Cooz93 66
Had the coilovers off my car at the weekend for a good clean. Now the threads are dirt/rust free, what's the best way to protect them from being covered in s**t again? Ideally so I can adjust them lower when the time comes? Copper grease be any good? daveyboy 897
I wouldn't mind knowing the same. I would of thought the copper grease would get caked in shit off the roadsSent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk Surreyvr6
CALICO 130
I used chain wax on mine they were free after 1 year. They will always get caked in crap but as long as they stop the rust getting to the threads you can clean and reapply when the time comes. Think its been mentioned as the perfect fix before you can also get spring covers that go over the spring down to the shock not sure how much they cost though.
daveyboy 897
Ahh I've still got chain wax from my motor bikes in the garage. I'll give it a goSent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
CALICO 130
Works wonders I sprayed in between my locking rings as well. I found it also works on knackered HT leads but don't spray it and try to start the car at the same time its very flammable. Edited June 12, 2014 by CALICO
