zeph_becks 1 Posted August 22, 2014 Report Share Posted August 22, 2014 Hey guys, this is my first post on this site, i own a 94 golf vr6 ive owned it for one day and when ive been sitting at a red light if i dont feed it revs the engine will shut off randomly, it will start back up again fine but i really want to find the problem before it becomes worse, cheers guys! Therusterman 59 Posted August 22, 2014 Report Share Posted August 22, 2014 Been a '94 car it will have an idle stabilisation valve, this may need cleaning out and/or replacing. Other than that, I'd get the fault codes read if possible-you can pick up generic code readers cheap off eBay. Link to post Share on other sites
