FrankoVR6 0
Hi AllMy drivers-side rear window is Stuck at the down position.Im having trouble diagnosing what is wrong. It wont make any whirrs or clicks when i press either the door up/down button or the console up/down button. Is there any way I can get the window up Manually?? Its a bit of security risk, having my window down all the time.I've got the door skin off this morning, and I cant see anything unusual. (pinched wires etc). Please help, Im unsure what to do next! Eat this 2
iirc i had to remove the glass from the runner mechanism and brace it with a cpl of planks of wood lol that was the front window i dont know if rears r the same
acf8181 0
unplug the wiring from the motor, and then run a direct feed off a battery to the connections on the motor...if you do ti the right way round the window wil either go up (proving a wiring/switch fault), or won't do anything (proving the motor has had it)
Eat this 2
have a sniff of the motor mine STANK REALLY BAD burnt itself to a crisp i got a full mechanism from a scrap yard for
Petesvw 0
Try the switch from the other side, then you will know if its motor or switch. Also check the feed into the door, could be a broken wire.
