I'm so going back next year. I was slightly amazed at how well the vr went round the ring gonna be a yearly jaunt for the vr6 me thinks, just a shame about the fuel bill lol. marvin t martian 0 Posted May 29, 2005 Author Report Share Posted May 29, 2005 All i have is a video of my trip and a wet lap but it\'s on a sony hi8 rather than a digital so i can\'t post on the net If you go in www.nurburgring.org theres loads of info.Defo going again, gonna get a digital for next time and a shit load more money, had to fill the fill the vr6 every two days....... (how small are the tanks on these things my old mk2 16valve had a bigger tank) so i can play a lot more this next time, it\'s addictive.I would recomend it to anyone but make sure you cover every angle, cause if something goes wrong it will cost ya, as my friend found out and we don\'t even know if his insurance will sort his car out yet, it\'s still in germanyHe now owns his own piece of armco and a 1300 pound bill for the privilage not good....... So sort some insurancePersonaly I would rather pay a couple of hundred quid for a weeks worth of extra insurance than receive a bill for that amount for a accident, so just to warn you all It is something you have to experiance. sad as this sounds, playing gt4 and practsing the nurburgring has been invaluable, it\'s not perfect, the ring actually feels bigger than gt4 but if you can learn the route then you have something to start from.I got faster as the weekend went on and the caroseel is just mind blowing so much fun lol Link to post Share on other sites
