novice1976 2
Hi all I need advice on a clunking sound that sounds like its front right wheel.I took the car to get camber and tracking done(both were miles out as I just changed struts days before) but when I picked it up I noticed a clunking. They had it back and couldn't see anything,At low speeds when driving a clunking noise appears that seems to be connected with the speed im traveling at.When i pull away and when I touch the brakes I feel it through pedal.I was thinking cv joint driveshaft but I aint got a clue where to start. If anyone could help it would be gratefully received.cheers rob. Therusterman 59
If it the cv joints were an issue, they would usually make a clicking noise when on full lock. As you've had the suspension apart, I'd first suggest going over every nut and bolt and spanner check everything is tight. Take a look at things like anti roll bar bushes and see if any bits like that look worn and go from there. sharki

sharki 2
Did you put on coilovers? If so check the nut that holds the struts in (circle but with 2 holes in it)
