Craig 0
An indicated 160mph in my old Rover 620Ti. I've had an indicated 145mph (ish) in my Rover 800 Vitesse.I've also just about nudged 140mph (indicated, again) in the Vento. I suspect the automatic transmission isn't best suited to flat out blatting and I know for a fact my pocket isn't!

Earwig 89
140MpHChasing a F355 down the A20 (I think) to Brighton.I chased him all the way into Briton and sat along side him at the lights in the town. Was funny to see him trying SSooooo hard not to glance over and look at me next to him :-)I bet he thought driving a 355 he would never have seen a Golf sitting 10 feet off his rear at 140MpH lolTo add insult to Injury I nearly had him off the lights to ! Hahaha.Would have loved to have seen his face if i'd actually beaten him off the lights hhehe

FishWick 21
Unconfirmed - the needle rests on the stop past 160 at 7000rpm in 5th.I used Quaife's gear calc application and with my 3.68 diff, 7000rpm gives 157.3mph. The standard 3.39 diff would give 171mph at 7000rpm.

jesterwalker69 0
Top speed reached ever = 160mph in an Evo 6 T.M.E on that private stretch of the M6 between J42 and 41 Top speed in current car (Fiesta 1.25 Zetec...or is it?!) = 125mph.
