I'm a bit of a track slag tbh been doing them years , will be doing another 14 to 18 next year as they are a laugh , few pics of old n new track toys of mine Currently running a Clio 172 getting boosted next year with a low pressure turbo set up about 240 bhp @ 850 kg ran scoobs n evos for years but the cost has just become mental hence why went French as there soo much cheaper Edited December 7, 2014 by Gwr corrado Bealieboy
Bealieboy 1,625
Clio is a great trackday car with adequate performance and neutral handling, I had a 03 reg 172 cup for a short while which I took to goodwood. I enjoyed the day but became increasingly annoyed by a poxy old Morgan plus8 which I couldn't get near and an e type roadster whose dust I was eating every 3-4 lap, and as for the radical, that was doing 2 laps to my 1. I sold the clip after a trip to the Alps in it, talk about bone shaker, so hard on the suspension i had to sell it! I also did snett in my prodrive Scooby wagon, that was not a bad day either, that cooked its brakes quite quickly though. Haven't been for a long time now and I don't think I could do it to my green beast...... Well, maybe? Bealieboy 1,625
Well that is some cheap fun isn't it, £800 is not a lot. Do you drive to the track or trailer it? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Gwr corrado
Gwr corrado 189
It was road legal tbh till I went a bit mad it's stripped big time for the weight factor , and I now trailer her to track days , and yes 800 first cost but cough cough don't tell the wife 3 grand later lol looking at 2500 for the turbo set up , such a giggle though The Duke, vr6guy, Bealieboy and 1 other

Bealieboy 1,625
Mmm, there's not much left of that! Bet it's a lot of fun though. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Gwr corrado
Gwr corrado 189
The evo is probably the best car I've owned as an all round car , it was 420 bhp 415 lb of torque so a good balance , but my type r Scoob was more fun in track . The evo has such a good yaw control it takes a lot of the driving away from you and controls it . Were as the scoobs with there dccs gearbox means you can have more of a laugh . I shouldn't of sold the evo though tbh .

craggsy 91
I try to get to as many trackdays as I can. It's a great laugh doing em. Last time out was at snetterton in the rain, left angel of a lot of stuff behind, it almost fekt like I had track to myself so kept getting back end out to learn just how much grip the R32 has. Taught me a lot that day, getting 400+hp on to track in the rain is difficult but fun Gwr corrado

djiceman 131
I need to get my car sorted, this is the reason I bought it over a year ago and it still hasn't really been driven hard by me yet.... I've got KWV1's and eibach roll bars to go on for handling and then cams and a remap and I'm ready to start booking places for track days!!Hopefully get to meet a few of you at them too, although my local track is Brands Hatch, happy to go wherever, as long as I can do the Ring and Spa at some point lol. Check their website, I'm sure they do. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Edited January 10, 2015 by Bealieboy
